A brand new program for TVCC clients! Welcome to Shining Stars Dance Camp, where every participant is celebrated for their unique abilities and talents!
REGISTRATION FEE: $180.00 (payable to Elan Dance Arts) instructions will follow.
This camp is an extension of Elan Dance Arts’ Shining Stars program, specifically designed for students with diverse needs, including but not limited to developmental, physical, or intellectual disabilities. With personalized attention and support, this experience will foster an atmosphere of creativity, friendship, and self-expression. Whether your camper is taking their first dance steps or has a passion for performance, our program is tailored to accommodate and celebrate every individual.
Throughout the camp, participants will engage in a variety of activities, including dancing, playing, singing, and interactive games. The structure of the camp is flexible, allowing us to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each dancer. Our goal is not only to provide a platform for artistic expression but also to nurture social skills, build confidence, and create lasting connections among campers.
Through this program, participants will:
- Meet and interact with other TVCC kids like them
- Boost their self-confidence through dance and creative expression
- Be introduced to a variety of dance, movement and artistic practices
Participant Criteria:
- TVCC clients aged 8-11
- Able to participate safely in group activities and discussion
- Able to independently follow along with a group with or without accommodations (Support persons are welcome.)
- Interested in dance in a group setting
